What Services Does Curabuild Offer?Curabuild mainly deals in residential construction. Our forté is new home builds though we also have expertise in major renovation/extensions, NDIS fit-out & remedial insurance work. Curabuild also has experience in light commercial work as you can see on our home page (work carried out at Bodyworkz Gym) and we offer job management services to those who want to be an Owner-builder. Essentially we have two main Services:- 1. Job Contract which is basically a Lump Sum contract. 2. Project management services which assists the owner-builder. Our average price on job contracts is $475,000.00.

How to Reschedule a Free Call1. Use the Mobile App or confirmation email to access your booking. 2. Select the reschedule option and choose a new time slot. 3. Confirm the updated appointment.

How do I get the google meet link?• Once the booking is confirmed, a Google Meet link will be sent to your registered email. This link will also be accessible on the Mobile App.

How to Prepare for the Free CallEnsure a stable internet connection. Have all relevant documents, photos, or plans ready to share. Prepare a list of questions or topics to discuss.

Between Client & CurabuildCurabuild invites clients to sign up to our Mobile App to monitor work progress and communicate when necessary. The app provides: Work Progress Updates: View real-time photos and schedules of the project. Messaging Feature: Emails or text messages sent through the app are addressed within a 24-hour period. Important Note: Text responses are not provided outside business hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00AM - 5:00 PM).

Between Client & Staff/SubcontractorsCurabuild requests that clients limit communication with staff or subcontractors on-site to pleasantries. Staff and subcontractors are assigned to specific tasks, and any business or personally-related matters must be directed to Curabuild through the Mobile App or our office. Exception: The only permissible communication is in cases of serious emergencies where imminent damage or danger to staff/subcontractors exists and Curabuild staff has not yet been informed.

How will I know Curabuild has complied with the BCA?Council-Approved Builds: Either Council or a Qualified Private Certifier representatives conduct inspections at critical stages of construction. These inspections ensure full compliance with the Australian Standards (BCA) & National Construction Codes (NCC). Non-Council-Approved Builds (under AUD 20,000): For renovations where the external façade is unchanged and council approval is not required, Curabuild ensures all work adheres to BCA & NCC standards. Those undertaking work that does not require council or private certification are encouraged to select a reputable builder for such work.

Who chooses the Certifier?The Client/Owner chooses the certifier. This can either be a representative from the local council where the development is located or a qualified Private Certifier. Curabuild can assist you with this choice.

How do I apply to work for Curabuild?At Curabuild we wish to make employment opportunities easily accessible & desirable. We may advertise for a position or you may enquire to what is available. Some positions require certificates & we ask that you provide us with as much relative information when applying. If you would like to start an apprenticeship or, you are at school and would like work experience, then you will apply on our page here If you are unsure as what to do then use our chat button on the website (located in the lower right corner on most pages).

What usually happens with payments?Payments are outlined in the contract agreement, specifying the timeframe for each payment milestone. Below are the standard practices: Deposit: A maximum 10% deposit is allowed at the outset, in compliance with Fair Trade practices. Progress Payments: Payments are tied to milestones, such as the completion of concrete slabs or other specific stages. Note: Clients engaging builders or tradespeople on an hourly basis assume all associated risks.
